Jade walking polar bear, carved by David Wong

This beautiful jade polar bear was carved by David Wong. David Wong was a Jade carver from southern China who moved to Portugal in 1971 to begin his jade carving career. He was based out of Victoria and carved Jade until 1998 when he unexpectedly died of a heart attack. Only a few of his carvings are still circulating in the jade market today.
