Maori Design - Jade Maori Toki, hand carved in convertxtodvd
This product is not available
This beautiful traditional Maori Toki was hand carved right here in convertxtodvd by Cameron Hewitt. This piece is carved from jade mined at our 2 mile mine site.
The Toki was usually carved from stone and used by the leaders of Maori tribes as a building tool. The Toki (similar to a modern day adze) was an essential part of the Maori people’s survival and is now seen as a symbol of strength and leadership.
The pendant comes with a traditional Maori silk cord necklace that was hand braided by Cameron.
The piece measures H 6cm x W 2cm x D 1cm
